ABOUT

Sunday Trails began as a running group in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. It quickly became a place in participants' calendars for adventure, health, and lifelong friendships.

After years of hosting this weekly workout, founder Josh Adler is spreading the church of trails far and wide.

Discover a community devoted to the path... no matter where it leads.

Code Of Conduct

Sunday Trails has adopted the "We Have Voice Collective" Code of Conduct.

This code promotes zero tolerance of harassment of any kind.

This code of conduct applies to the Sunday Trails community (which includes but is not limited to Sunday Trails employees, volunteers, and participants)  in all Sunday Trails communities  live and virtual "which can include but is not limited to an event, venue, social media platform, and communication that involves professional matters"[1]  in the Sunday Trails workspace, and at all events hosted by Sunday Trails.

Our community is dedicated to creating a safe(r) and more inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of their “various identities and positionalities, including gender identity, race, age, ability, ethnicity, culture, immigration status, sexual orientation and identity, class position and economic background, and religious belief and affiliation.”[1]

We do not tolerate harassment of community members in any form. Harassment creates a less safe environment and includes, but is not limited to, unwelcome offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, photography or audio/video recording against reasonable consent, sustained disruption at events, inappropriate physical contact, conditions of advancement contingent upon the acceptance of unwelcome sexual behavior (Quid pro quo), and non-consensual sexual behavior . Harassment does not need to be recognized as unwanted or unwelcome by anyone other than the person being harassed. “Consent is a clear and unambiguous agreement to engage in a particular activity. It is expressed outwardly through mutually understandable words or actions. Consent is reciprocal and free of force.”[1]

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Community members violating these rules may be sanctioned or removed from community spaces. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed,  "speak up, seek support, or ask for help"[1]. We can create safer environments together.

If you or have any other concerns or would like to report harassment, please contact our team at admin [at} SundayTrails.com. [1].

Sunday Trails additionally proudly supports the ‘We Have Voice Code of Conduct’ - for promoting safe(r) workplaces".
